Nearly 5 Months Young

Babies growing, Gabe has started to roll within the last week. At the moment, Raffi only likes to does not participate in the trick, as she is unsure about its safety as Gabe usually needs helping flipping back over.

It's been 4 months since my last postin, hope this makes up for it. Good thing the SD/Pitt game isn't close, as it freed up 2 hours to do this.

For whatever reason, the blog adds pictures most to less recent.

Here's from yesterday.

First time we dressed them up in non-sleepers to take out. He loooked like Eminem and she looked like Rainbow ice cream, but hey. they look happy ;).

My most favorite brother!

Also, first time in socks and shoes. Althought you can't see the yellow suns on the tops of his shoes, he wasn't sure what they were. He spent the majority of his day checking out the tops of his feet.

Not another picture. :(

Green is the color of the day, Must be a Rider game day

Doesn't this have wheels? I'm ready to go!

It could be the morning or evening, tough to tell. It's either been a long day or it is about to be ;)

Seriously, milk again?

I have the best mommy in the world.

Latest and Greatest

Here's whats been going on the last couple of week. We're at 30 weeks, working on Week 31 which is good news. Nic remains on bedrest so I'm the chief cook. Found many good recipes past couple of weeks., making Sweet, stick and spicy Chicken tonight, courtesy of allrecipes.com.
On the weekend, i made the best waffles ever, it had 4 eggs involved, where you separate the egg and add the parts at different stages... Quite the complex waffle, if you ask me... but i'm for challenges these days... Also bought some corning ware and a couple of different cookie sheets... I'm sure getting domestic.... maybe tooo domestic

Keeping my man skills sharp. while I was in Estevan the washer machine broke... Stupid Maytag ;) Anyways.. after i completely dissamebled all the easy parts, i found what was wrong.
The white water pump which you can see on the backside by the hole on the bottom left.. 3 screws for the cover, and 3 screws for the pump is all it would have taken... next time it, i'll be prepared... works like a charm now.

me before bedtime, unfortuneatly brushing my teeth,

Here's nicole last week before we went to the dr.

On my visit to Estevan I stayed at Gregg's and Jodi's. Jodi was nice enough to let me practise with Cameron for the evening.. It actually went quite well....

Here's my front yard. This is for Kelly. April 1...unbelievable

1 Crib Complete, 1 to go

So we ordered a crib from Sears and it finally came in on Saturday. After
I unpacked all the parts and got sorted out, it went together pretty good...

Here in reverse order...

C'est Fini! it's good, but could use some another coat to increase its shine.... probably a good quality high gloss polyurethane from International Paint

and more parts....

Trusty tools haven't ever let me down...

Instruction... can it really be that complicated...

Little Clothes and old family recipe

This is from Early February when we really started to get on with the required baby stuff. We needed to make them a room. Nic's parents were in town to help us remove the big bed from the baby's room so we could paint. Also they brought many boxes of little boy clothes from her nephew Brock. If that wasn't enough, a friend of nic's gave us another 3 boxes of little girl clothes.

Look at the little mits

" even without babies, this is still fun"

"oh boy" (also note the nicely tiled fireplace)

"there's alot of clothes here, there's only two on the way not 8 right?"

Here I am with the dogs relaxing where they can find room, i'm just checking out minivans on the internet. obviously way too excited, one sliding door or two?

Here's the first time I tried Mom's recipe for scones...

Here it the short video of the process....

if you look close the bottoms burnt really bad, so we just eat the tops (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eipl17WpOo)
